i want to go but just thinking I have too much going with the jeep in the month of june ..... maybe later in the year ..... I DID have a great time last time and I WILL be going to some in the future for SURE ..... you guys enjoy and have a great time .... be sure to carry something for the bugs and the cool night breeze .....Those are Great movies to go see too .... oh well ,,, next time

I live in Mansfield. Mansfield is 10 minutes or less to Fort Worth. The drive-in is about 35 minutes from my house. The only way Granbury will be closer is if you live in west Fort Worth, or the Benbrook area.

Go 820 to 20 to 287 to 879. Straight shot, no traffic. From 287 and 20 on a Saturday evening, it takes me about 20 minutes to get over by Mountain Creek Parkway/Azle Avenue area. Even from far north west Fort Worth, it's still less than an hour drive.

don't take it that way. if you want to set something up for the one in granbury, pick a date and time and put it on the calendar. i just don't want anyone thinking it is super far away. i thought it was a lot further than it really is when i first considered going. i have never been to the one in granbury, but i hear it is much smaller than the one near ennis with only one screen. here is their website if anyone is interested.

One more thing I might add...If you can't come because your Jeep isn't ready for some reason, come on out in your regular cars. A lot of people got to the last one early, and it was really great just to be able to hang out and chat with everyone.

Going to have to pass meeting you this time around. For those that have heard about it, springcreek offroad is hosting the 5th annual Texas Supertruck Shootout this weekend. I am the food vendor out there. I think they have around 75 rigs from stock to extreme running the 5 different obstacles. If anyone is going to be down here, might be something fun to go and watch. Have fun at the drive in and maybe I can make the next one. I will be coming through the metroplex sometime this month or next at the latest, I may try and plan on stopping in at a cruise in or meeting.

I'll be there around 6:30 - 7. The sooner you get there, the better chance you have of grouping together. I suspect it will get crowded quickly.

how was the drive in? We were going to come down but after much talking we decided to pass. Friday night we got caught out in the jeep with a bikini top and no doors in a bad rain storm. That kind of made us scared about the same thing happening on saturday night. so we decided to pass.

We drove down with no doors, and just a safari top. It was a great night. Stars were real bright, and I finally got to show my kids the big dipper over our heads. Not as many people as last time, but we enjoyed the shows, and the people that showed up.
