Jeep Sundays at 4Gs Bar and Grill

Starting this Sunday 4Gs Bar and Grill in Downtown Plano will have special happy hour pricing and free pool if you come in with a Jeep key. They have a pretty good kitchen, three pool tables, dart boards, Golden Tee and lots of TVs around the place.

One of the owners came up with the idea when I showed up after the AMA Supercross and there were five Jeeps parked in front. After we spent about an hour out there talking Jeeps he enjoyed it so much he thought it would be cool if it were a regular thing.

It's located on 15th street on the east side of the Dart rail tracks, north side of the street.

That would be excellent! I am really looking forward to meeting y'all! What time do you guys think you would stop by? I am open but I would like to meet some people, it would be a shame to go over for a few hours and miss everyone!

That sounds like a really good time! Unfortunately, Plano is a long way from Mansfield after a few beers. Maybe some of us "Southern" Jeepers can find a similar arrangement at a more local club. All the same, I'll try to make a Happy Hour "Up North" when I can, just watching my alchohol intake.

Actually they are going to do special happy hour prices as long as you have a Jeep key, it's possible I would be there later than the 12 to 1 time, if there were many people that were looking to meet up. I live close so I could even consider a second round over there.

I apparently never can be too embarrassed at my lack of skill in pool...

I met a few people and some other non-LSJC folks stopped by and we got to talk Jeeps. Funny thing was I had an accident 7 weeks ago and one of the guys who stopped by is a Denison fireman and actually worked my accident. Small world!

4Gs told me they would do it again next weekend and so on. I'm thinking of putting a flyer up over at Expert Offroad and Collins Brothers to see if more people will come out.
