The 12th Annual Denton County Charity Mud Bug Boil and Gumbo Cook-off is coming up on May 3, 2008. My firm has participated and supported this every year for the past 6 years. We even won first place in the Gumbo cook-off 2 years ago. We'll be participating again this year. It's a great time with good food and awesome live music all for a good cause.

The 12th Annual Denton Charity Mudbug Boil and Gumbo Cook-Off, benefiting the Denton County Friends of the Family and the Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home is Saturday, May 3, 2008. The event will be held at 1211 W. Hickory Street, Denton, (behind Riprock’s and Lucky Lou’s) from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Cost of admission is $5.00 or $3.00 with canned food donation. Children under 12 get in free. All-you-can- eat is $15.00 while it lasts!!!** . Lots of family fun for everyone with live entertainment, silent auctions, plus children’s play area.
