I think the sponsors already give a lot and not many people are really willing to get off the forum and go hound up raffle prizes as it is. I think that George had the best idea so far. Plus bragging rights!

its not entirely my contest, so i cant say what goes and what doesnt. we arent looking for the best modded rig here, we are looking for the best setting, and overall picture.

Hey Bob I have an issue with the way the poll is done. Unless I am missing something here. You can not see the jeep pictures and what number you have with them unless you vote in the poll first. I voted for a jeep with the number that was at a certain # in the posted thread where everyone was to post their pictures. Then after voting in the poll I see that the pictures and numbers that you have assignned to them are different then what was in the original contest thread. So does that mean that I voted for another jeep? I am trying to figure out how someone is suppose to see the jeep pictures with assigned number before you vote if you are not using the original thread that the owners posted their pictures in. If I am missing something please let me know .... Otherwise I think there are going to be a LOT of miss counted votes ....

And if there is a way I can change my vote to the one that it was meant for than please let me know that too.

I know this is the first so bugs have to be worked out .... But like you said you want it to be a good clean contest .....

ALL JEEPs are winners in my eyes ... we just like a style over another sometimes ...

I have a suggestion to let it run for a week, and then take the top 5 and run a new poll.

FYI.... at the last board meeting it was decided the club would pay for a t-shirt for the winner of the JOTM. All that is needed now is for someone to design a logo for the t-shirt and submit it to the board for approval. It is easy to place a JOTM title under the users name. Now someone start working on the design and make it simple.

I'm trying to figure out what month we are actually voting for now. And is it to late to get a picture in for the one we are voting on right now? I was waiting for the election run to get a half way good picture.

if it says "JOTM - April 2009" then you are entering a photo for JOTM April 2009. same with the voting. the submission was open for about 2 weeks until yesterday night.... guess you have to wait till next month

I think it would be easier for folks if we had the picture entering portion the first 2 weeks of the prior month and then the last 2 weeks of the prior month for voting.

Example;
Submission time for May JOTM winner

April 1-15- Photo submission period
April 16-30- Voting period
May 1- May JOTM winner announced

thats already the plan. if you cant remember the JOTM didnt officially start until mid month of march. its slowly getting to a schedule.
