TMTC Elections/Choosing BMRA BOD

The TMTC will host it's annual elections at Barnwell this Saturday, 4/24/2010, at 1:00 pm, at the Pavillion.

If you are a TMTC member, you should have already received an e-mail advising you how to vote on-line. If you haven't, it may be because the TMTC doesn't have your current e-mail address. If that's the case, please log onto the TMTC website (http://www.texasmotorizedtrails.com) and update your e-mail address. If you have trouble voting on-line, let me know and I'll see if I can help. Otherwise, you can cast your ballot at the election meeting.

If your membership has expired less than sixty days ago, you can renew for $35 with no lapse in your membership. If your membership has expired more than sixty days ago, you can re-join at the regular rate of $40/year.

Important: The TMTC appoints the members of the BMRA BOD. You have the chance to influence who is (and who isn't) on the BMRA BOD. Please send me a PM with your nominations. You can nominate yourself. Again, this is your chance. I need your help making BMRA what you want it to be!

TMTC board members are elected by TMTC members.

BMRA board members are appointed by TMTC board members. I sure would like to have a few LSJC members to appoint to the BMRA board . . . ! PM me if you would like to throw your hat in the ring. Please keep in mind that we need people who can be committed to working to resolve the issues we have at BMRA. I need your nominations by Friday.

I agree with Roy. The BMRA BOD is in need of some serious changes. This could be a huge help in getting the park to run more efficiently.

I can't believe I put 1 a.m. . . . . It was 1 p.m.

Anyway, the election was held. All seats were unopposed, so everyone that was on the ballot won. In addition, Charlie got nominated to the BMRA BOD and I got nominated to the EDRA BOD (currently it's a development committee). We need some help, ya'll!

I'm looking for a few good men to come out to EDRA the weekend of 5/8 - 9 to help cut some Jeep trails. PM me if you can help.
