    4 Cyl. diesel engine conversion kit for their Wrangler

    Do you think anyone would you be interested in 4 Cyl. diesel engine conversion kit for their Wrangler: if it came with the below mentioned specs and came with everything to do the conversion. How much would someone be willing to pay?



    ENGINE Type: Top mounted intercooler, Intercooled, mhawk CRDe, 4 stroke, Turbo charged, DI, Common Rail Diesel Engine

    Engine Size: 2.2L
    Max. Gross Power: 120 hp (86.7Kw) @4000 rpm
    Max. Gross Torque: 290 Nm @ 1800-2800 rpm
    Fitment: Any 4 cyl. OR 6 cyl. Jeep Wrangler (complete replacement kit)

    There are a few folks that might be interested, but engine swaps are very involved and if not bolt in might not fit for most here.

    You selling a kit or gonna do a swap yourself? I always dreamed to get the CRD thats in the libby or in the Sprinter truck to put into a Cherokee.

    The Jetta Diesel they put in the Xtreme4x4 Sami is one I always loved. There are some instances where a diesel on the trail would be great, axle upgrades will have to follow with all that new found torque though.

    I'd love one, but check emissions laws before you do one in a street rig.

    IIRC depending on the year Wrangler you are forced to use a diesel that was offered by Mopar during the same year of your vehicle to be 50 state emissions legal.

    Personnaly I would love a diesel in my LJ but the one the OP listed is a bit weak to go through all the trouble of a swap.

    I think it is same year or newer.
