    Cheapest place to find 134a freon

    I just got some from o'reilly and it was crazy expensive out the door was 16$ a can never will I go back there... : ( Does anyone know where I can get some cheaper?

    walmart in Cedar Hill and Lancaster dont carry normal freon.. the one they have is doctored up with additive

    Cheapest place to find 134a freon

    AutoZone does... But not in gallons. It's in smaller containers..

    ohh no.. dont need gallons of it lol i just need small cans to fill up my XJ... it uses about 2 cans a year. It has a small leak

    Wal-mart is the cheapest. Autozone also carries it in the small recharge cans, but they are just as high as Oreilly.

    Not sure what you bought, but the normal can of straight freon was like 7.99.. At least it was last year...

    I know this is odd but I bought some last year at big lots for $5 a can on Sale.

    Yes.. That's what I told the dude... I paid 9$ at walmart lol now its just getting crazy

    Any refrigerant with a "4" in the name will be out of site. R-125 that is used to make R-134a is made overseas in Engalnd and France. The plants shut down for a while creating a supply and demand senario. That's why it has gone up.
