This photo was taken in early Dec at Clayton Ok. This was a 2nd shakedown run after leaving CSPTX for an upgrade/transformation. Currently the jeep has all 1350 ujoints, atlas 5.0, ballistic joints, built HP Dana 60 with 35spl shafts, complete PSC full hydro system, longfield ujoints, warn locking hubs, 3 link front/4 link rear, sway-a-way 2.0 air shocks all around, built 14bolt full float rear with disc brakes. The jeep has 5.38 gears and sits at 111″ wheelbase, and is an absolute blast to wheel.
The picture was taken on infamous Black Bear Pass during 2009 LSJC Colorado trip. The Jeep is going down on the dreaded section known as steps. The steps are scary as you feel you are going into a whole lot of nothing on loose gravel ledges and there is no room for error. It is one of the most beautiful trails going into Telluride.
The Jeep is 2006 Jeep Rubicon that I bought stock in 2007 a day before my second daughter was born. It has OME ZJ/LJ springs & Bilstein shocks with 33” tires along with JKS everything, Warn front and rear bumpers with Warn winch and AEV tummy tuck and a lot of other armor, etc.
