LSJC Annual MERUS Adventure Park Run!

MERUS Adventure Park is Texas’ premier private adventure park located in the second-largest canyon in North America; Palo Duro Canyon. MERUS offers world-class off-roading, overlanding, camping, hiking, caving, and more in a family-friendly environment. The park offers over 6,500 acres of the most pristine and beautiful land in Texas.

Convoy Info: Leaving Denton Buc-ee's at 9:30am (2800 S Interstate 35 E, Denton, TX 76210)

Comms GMRS (no CB): General: CH. 22 Easy Group: CH. 20 Medium/Hard Group: CH. 19 

Important Information:

• Campsite check in is from 2:00 – 6:00 pm
• You can check in to the park as early as 8:00 am for trail usage, but your campsites may not be available until 2:00 pm.
• All guests MUST arrive by 6:00pm.
• LATE CHECK-INS ARE NOT PERMITTED WITHOUT PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE MERUS OFFICE
• Be sure to pack a cooler with food & plenty of water. The nearest place to eat is in Claude about 20 min from the park. Amarillo is about a 45 min drive.
• Every vehicle has to have a GMRS radio. MERUS will rent them for $7/day if needed.
• Every vehicle in the park has to have a fire extinguisher on board. MERUS sells them for $30 if you need one.
• Be sure to have all the appropriate recovery gear you may need. A winch, tow rope, and soft shackles are strongly encouraged.
• Make sure your vehicle is full of fuel and if you are staying multiple days it's always a good idea to bring extra!

We will be wheeling Friday & Saturday (Thursday and Sunday are travel days).

Waiver: Everyone (including children) in your vehicle must have a waiver signed prior entering the park.
