4x4 Areas in the Doña Ana / Robledo Mountains Region
The Dona Ana area is packed with trails ranging from beginner scenic routes to extreme rock crawling. It’s part of the Robledo Mountains OHV Trail System, adjacent to the Prehistoric Trackways National Monument.
Amatista Ledges – Badge of Honor Trail
Amatista Ledges sits in the Southern Robledo Mountains just northwest of Las Cruces. It’s one of the original Chile Challenge trails and is known for being short, rocky, and extremely technical.
