Hello, my name is Chris (Grumpy) and I was a member way back in the day when it was still Jeeps of North Texas. It was not until Jeep was contacted about an event we were having when they informed us the name had to be changed, they didnt like the S on the end of Jeep. I was a trail guide and provided the name of the first event at Barnwell Mountain called Lonestar Jeep Fest. I have owned 8 Jeeps over the years from CJ7s, TJs, Jks, and a couple WK1s. My current ride is an inferno red 2010 WK1. If finances permit, I would like to get into the slower more laid back offroad version of a Jeep again soon. Currently, I spend my time showcasing my 170+ toy Jeeps on youtube at Jeep Toy showcase. Not sure how many other collectors we have but I would love to see what you have sometime. Haven't really thought of the club for awhile but ran into one of the members at Walmart the other day and he had the hood up. He didnt need any help but I offered and was reminded just how much I miss the camaraderie of Jeepers. Thanks for listening.
Hi all, my name is Bernie and I live just outside of Union Valley. My '04 LJ hasn't seen the trails in too long, so looking to get back out there this year. We used to make yearly trips to SW Colorado to hit the mine trails up until 2020, a few times with LSJC meetups 10-15 years ago.
Hi there, Bill and Benita, Mesquite, TX. I drive a 2014 JKU and Benita drives her 2012 JKU. Our ideal vacation is just jumping into the Jeep and going. This past fall we did a roadtrip from Dallas to Upper Michigan, to Rock n Roll HOF, Niagra Falls, Cooperstown, upto Acadia NP, Maine back down to the Woodstock festival grounds. This year heading to Colorado in July (All-4-Fun rally), Sept. Palo Duro for the Jeep Challenge and Oct. for the Chile Challenge in SW N.M. We hope to mmet up with you guys and see you out on the trails....
I am James and live in the Bullard, Tx area. Hopefully I will get to do some club runs soon. I have 2 TJ's ( 2004 Sahara and a 2005 X). I also have a 1976 CJ with a built factory 304
My name is Jasper and my wife is Ginger. Many of you know us and many do not. We exited the Jeep world for awhile and are now ready hit the trails again. Recently purchased a 1999 TJ just for wheeling. We arrived in Hot Springs for the Veterans Day run and after a few easy trails I realized I had a front caliper seized up. We loaded up and came home. Rebuilt the front hubs and brakes. Ready to go again.
Another TJ Owner!!! I have a 2000 TJ. I am working on all of the minor things that I have been pushing off all year. With our older jeeps, things are just wearing out and needs to be updated and/or replaced. I hope to see you on the trails soon. Our plan is to get a shake out run in February at Hidden Falls. Hope to see you there...
Hi Everyone. 3 time Jeep owner, 5 year Gladiator. New to this forum. Looking forward to becoming more active… Doug In Corinth
